GeoGirafe is a flexible, modern web-viewer application designed to build online geoportals. It is intended as the next-generation viewer for GeoMapFish. Built with native web standards (Web Components) and powered by plain TypeScript/JavaScript, GeoGirafe emphasizes simplicity, accessibility, performance and extendibility — making it possible to deploy a stable, efficient and secure geoportal easily. Its architecture is intentionally minimal in external dependencies, to keep the code-base readable and maintainable, and allow users to add their own plugins if needed.
